About Us

SRS was established in 2012 by Kim, to which it has grown and developed into the small popular riding school it is today. 

Staff

All instructors at SRS are BHS/UKCC qualified. 

Kim - SRS's proprietress. Kim offers lessons to all ages and abilities and escorts all hacks. She has a great ability to add confidence to any rider with a sympathetic approach. Also being able to coach, improve and perfect the more advanced rider. 

Sara - Sara started teaching at SRS in 2017 she has developed a great client base. Sara is able to communicate and accommodate any rider and provide ease too their learning experience. 

Kayleigh - Kayleigh has been a groom at SRS since 2017, She is a valued member of the team providing the horses & ponies with 5* care (and extra cuddles). Kayleigh is a very friendly member of staff who is also very keen to learn and develop her learning and qualifications in the equine industry. 

Facilities

SRS offers an all weather 20x40m outdoor arena with a full set of jump for joy show jumps. There is also lots of on/off road hacking.   

Riding

SRS offers lessons and Hacks for riders of all ages (4yrs+) and abilities. Every lesson and hack is tailored made to suit the individual.

Lessons

SRS lessons are available for 20, 30 or 45 minutes. These lessons can be private or semi private. SRS also offers group lessons. Groups are kept to a maximum of 4 riders to ensure optimum learning takes place. 

Hacking

SRS offers a wide range of hacking. Starting from a quiet, 20 min lane ride to a 3 hour bridleway hack. There is an extensive range of bridleways which can be used which take you across glorious countryside. 

Hacks are custom made to suit individual requirements whether you are looking for a quiet, gentle hack or to go for a fast ride. 

All hacks are escorted by a BHS/UKCC qualified instructor 

Activities

SRS is also a fun place to celebrate a childs birthday. The parties include riding, fun and games. 

SRS also offers fun days throughout the school holidays, which are a good way to develop children's understanding of how to care for the ponies, to improve their riding and to make new friends. 

Stable management morning / days will also be arranged specifically for adults to improve their knowledge and practical experience.
